Environment is not a dumping yard

Environment has been giving a life- supporting system to man since the time of his origin. Man is so indebted to it that he can never repay his debts to it. Man's nobility lies in expressing gratitude to environment which has been a source of survival since times immemorial.  Though we are wise enough to know this, we are

Environment is treated as a dumping yard.

Our environment does not get damaged

             with the domestic wastes,

                                                                                    dung or fecal matter

             because these are biodegradable wastes.

It is chemical wastes, pollutants and toxic wastes

that have been causing an intense damage to the

             environment.

It is time man realized that                                                                                environment is                                                                                                  not a dust-bin or a dumping yard.

SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT

Illogical pumping of pollutants into the environment into the environment, has left the environment crippled. These disposals have been exceeding the sustainability of the environment. The word, nature' suits no more to the modern context because the world of artifice has almost substituted natural surroundings. A few patches of vegetative cover cannot help the environment rejuvenate its past immunity and vigor.

ENVIRONMENT AND LIFE

The environment we live in, is a complicated web but has been meticulously designed on the laws of nature.

It is a precious gift of Lord Almighty. unfortunately we have been treating it as a dumping yard. We have

been pumping poisonous gases into the atmosphere, in enormous amounts. Poisonous chemicals and

toxicants released by the industries, factories, hospitals and other comparies have already caused damage

which is beyond repair.  Nations lack proper dumping methods for nuclear wastes. Danger is imminent that

our ground water resources become radio-active. Many pollutants, in one form or the other, have managed

to reach the profundities where nature has stored the ground-water. There is an urgent need to control this

contamination.
